Music Album - The Prophecy - Mauritius

The Prophecy is a Mauritian music band created in 2015  by Murvin Clèlie. The style of music is reggae and seggae; the latter being an indigenous music from Mauritius. The album comprises of  16 songs with strong philosophical messages about society, politics and human values.

We designed the main album artwork; a conceptual piece reminiscent of "Africa" & "The Earth"(soil). The main title "Where we belong" is a metaphor for the destiny we all share; mortality; shown by  the disintegrating into earth effect on the cover. Other mediums such as Apple Music, Spotify , Deezer also used the album artwork; including marketing collateral (posters, event banners, social media, apparels).

This album design is the  first to be endorsed by 'Made in Moris"  an organisation which  helps boost the Mauritian industry and contribute to the major economic balances. (http://madeinmoris.mu/fr/les-marques-made-in-moris/culturelles-et-creatives)

The band is now internationally recognized among the reggae community and  played their music  in France, Italy, United Kingdom, Australia, Reunion Island and Seychelles. The song "Laglwar" featuring on this album, won the song of the year 2018  on all local radios in Mauritius and Reunion Island (local category) and is still in the  Top 100 Charts (Mauritius) on Itunes.
